Yup, I made it to 38 weeks. Only one more week left and baby will be here. Am I ready? I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore, yes. But, I can't believe that will mean I'll have an infant in my arms. That I'm excited about, but the responsibility of adding one more member to the family is over whelming. I've been super emotional lately. This pregnancy has been so different from the other two. I've tried to enjoy it, but I just can't. Knowing that this is our last isn't that upsetting to me. I can't wait to see this little guy for the first time and know that he completes our family. Which brings me to another factor in this whole thing...
Notice I haven't mentioned "Landen" in this post, only "he" and "little guy." We've had too many comments about his name, and therefore are keeping it hush hush about the final name we have chosen. Landen is about 99% finalized, but we'll keep you all in suspense until you hear the final name!!!!! If you have nothing nice to say about a name, keep it to yourself, it's not your child anyway.
I finally took some pictures of this pregnancy. Being a scrapbooker that I am, this was the first time all pregnancy that I took a picture of my growing tummy. I don't think I get that big (a big tummy to show). I would if I was a 130 lbs, but we all know I'm not, so I have lot's of spaces for this kid to hide. I have my Dr. appointment this afternoon and my pre-op so I'm anxious to get things going soon. I still have to pack my hospital bag and a few other random things. I would really like to get some dusting and big cleaning done around the house so I don't feel that pressure after the baby. Side note: Do you know how hard it is to change bed sheets on the top of a bunk bed when your 9 months pregnant? Brian had to do it (Thanks hun). Brooklyn's old enough now so she can be doing it too.
Hope to report back soon with a new arrival to the Head family!

Almost there, how exciting!! Can't wait to see him. And you do look way small. That's always a plus! I know you will do well with this new family dynamic change. You are such a wonderful mother. You may not realize it, but I've learned a lot of what to do as a good mom by watching you. You are such a good example. Love you!
I've been thinking about you, Mia! Can't wait to see your new little peanut. And you look like a doll!
I know how hard it is to change a top bunk bed without being pregnant - my least favorite chore ever. As for the name - it's your son & you will know what name is right - regardless of what others think or say. Hang in there - just a little ways to go.
That's so exciting, Mia! I can't wait to not be pregnant either! Too bad I have 3 more months. And I know what you mean about the name...I had several people run one of my favorite names right through the mud. I'm sure whatever you choose will be perfect. Hope everything goes well this week! I'll be thinking of you and the little one!
You look great Mia. I can't wait to see and hold your little guy too. Hang in there.
I think you look great! And we like your name choice! But we will wait to hear the final word!
See you on Skype Friday. Our prayers are with you.
Yay, Mia! I'm so excited for you! I understand about the name thing. Once when I told someone about Elsie's name, they laughed, thinking I was joking... no joke, just a name I REALLY love now - you'll love whatever name you choose because it will belong to him and you'll love him so! I hope all went well!
Mia!! I didn't know you were a blogger! and quite the blogger at that! It will be so fun to keep in touch with you! I guess this post means that you now have a baby?? hope things are going well! We miss ya'll! (yes we are turning southern-not really)
Hi! Congrats on the baby! It was so fun looking at your blog and catching up! I hope that your family is doing well! Congrats, congrats...what a wonderful family!
Congrats! I heard from the mother's lounge when they announced the arrival of Landen. Wonderful news! I loved it that you preprinted all the June bulletins. My jaw was hanging open. RESPECT lady!
