Spring Break at Mall of America

It's our Spring Break this week, so I told the kids (mainly Brooklyn) that we would go to Mall of America this week. They changed the park from Camp Snoopy to Nickelodeon Theme. I have to say, it is awesome. My kids loved it and I loved it. We went to meet Dora. I wasn't sure how Gavin would handle it, but he was so excited, he ran right up to her and she had to turn him around so I could take the picture. Brooklyn was excited too (we are a bit past the "Dora" stage for her, but the excitement she showed was more for Gavin. It was really cute).

So, After we walked all around the park, we went shopping. I couldn't resist putting Gavin in this adorable "Red Baron" airplane. I see this everytime I go to the mall, and he is finally at the age to try it out. Doesn't he look like a future pilot?! Look at his ears in this picture. They, alone could make it fly. My Handsome little guy!

Just Goofin' Around

I couldn't resist putting these pictures up. We were taking funny pictures the other day and Brooklyn got these funny glasses from a Birthday Party she went to. ENJOY!

St. Patty's Day

Well, St. Patricks Day came and went. It's so hard to believe this Sunday is Easter. It snuck up on us so fast. We haven't even dyed Easter eggs yet. Maybe Friday night!
We had a little visitor on Monday morning who spit in the Toilet and turned the water Green. Then the same little man dyed our whole gallon of milk green (we're still drinking green milk). We even had green spaghetti noodles for dinner. When mommy wasn't looking, he must have dyed the boiling water! We never did catch him, but there's always next year if he decides to show up again. We'll be ready for sure!

Northtown Mall Play Area

I just can't resist putting up these funny videos.
Watch his sweet little face when he hears the children laughing from another ride in the back ground. I love it!

Brooklyn is in the background playing!

Major Bummer

Well, I woke up this morning to sounds of a chain saw (literally) cutting down the big tree that sits right in front of our town house. This was no trimming of branches that I thought they would be doing. The whole tree is gone. It was our privacy from the major road in front of our house, not to mention a great shade tree to keep out the roasting sun in our windows during the summer. We are so sad. A little angry too, but it's gone, can't bring it back. We still have no idea what the association plans on doing either. A little communication would have been nice. Anyway, check out the pictures it took!

My Birthday Boy

We had Gavin's Birthday Party last night at my moms with just family. It was Rylie's (my niece) birthday yesterday, so we combined the get togethers. This will probably happen the rest of their lives. Funny thing is, our nephew Dillon, in Connecticut, has a birthday on the 11th. So we'll have lots to celebrate through the years. SHOUT OUT TO DILLON! - HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUD!

My mom was in charge of getting the cake, and when she told me Saturday afternoon that the only cake they could find was a Care Bears cake, I about fell over and said, there is no way my little two year old BOY is going to take pictures of a Care Bear cake to look at for the rest of his life. So, I made him his very own, ALL BOY, Cake!

He had a blast opening presents tonight! Lots of Cars and Action figures. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and presents! We love you.

Gavin's Birthday

Wow, It's good to hear that my friends visit our blog! I'm really pumped now to make sure it's updated frequently. I have a few minutes while the Birthday boy is busy playing Play-dough (Thank you Auntie Sarah and Uncle Nick!) We can never have enough play-dough around here. I'll deal with the clean up as long as I can have a few minutes to update the Blog!!!

Thanks for your comments guys!

I know, I know, it's been so long. Honestly, I just haven't wanted to update the blog. My laziness got the best of me. Alright, anyone who knows me, I'm not lazy! But, I have needed to put priorities in order this last couple weeks.

We were house sitting at my moms two weeks ago for a whole week. In doing so, I was also helping out my nephew who was living with them. He needed rides to work, etc. I love hanging out at my moms, but living there for 7 days is not fun. It really took a toll on our family. Who can relax when your 2 year old is faster than your reflexes?! Gavin is into everything. We were so blessing to have Brooklyn first. She is so sweet, patient, obedient, loving, and the list goes on. Gavin is most of those things (minus the obedience!). Anyway, it was just a hassle being away from our Gavin proof house for the week.

This last week has been recovery week. Still busy as can be, but laying low at the same time.

It's so hard to believe Gavin will be 2 on Monday. He is starting to talk so much. He makes us laugh everyday. He'll repeat words all the time, is favorite thing to say is: "Holy Crap" I know, I know, he got it from me. I'm having a hard time trying to stop him. He'll see something and say that, then "Bookin, comin see!" (Brooklyn come and see) How can you not giggle a little? It will come back and haunt me someday.

Brooklyn's big news that has happened recently is; she got a perm. It took pictures throughout the procedure of course. Take a look at a couple.

I just wanted to get this loose wave in her hair. It finally stays curly when we curl it now. Yippee! Gavin wanted to be in the picture when he saw me posing Brooklyn, so of course, we had to let the little brother in the picture. He even got his hair styled a few minutes earlier cause he was feeling left out. She's so patient!

Well, I'll try really hard not to let so much time pass before the next update. Check back regularly!

Love to all-
