Yup, We Finally Got IT!!!!

Okay, So I guess that makes me a major hypocrite. I am not a video game fan, but ever since some friends introduced us to Wii in June last year, I have wanted one so bad. It's not really even a video game. Everybody has one these days. We were even able to talk my dad into getting one so we wouldn't have to. But, the stimulis check haunted us into buying it. It's also birthday season coming up and anniversary and Father's day. We also decided if we were going to get it, then we would also get the Wii Fit. Of course everyone is sold out. I called hundreds (well it seemed like hundreds) of places and nobody had it. Well, for Family Home Evening tonight, we decided to check out Best Buy to see what game selection they have. What did our wandering eyes see? No, not sugar plum fairies, but a lovely box of Wii Fit staring at us. The employee said it just came in the truck tonight. Well, everything is coming up HEADS! We left happy and content. Brian and I set it up tonight, and it is AWESOME. We are so excited, motivated, and energize to begin our "Gettin Fit" time in life.

If anyone wants to come over and learn more, you are welcome. Give us a call.

We might have sneaked in some Guitar Hero III too. That is sooooo fun. Duel anyone?

We have owned a Wii for about a year and a half and LOVE it. We haven't got Wii fit yet though. I would love to see yours. Congrats on the great find.

Sweet! Wiis are so cool! My nephew Jaxon told me they are the best things ever! I've had some sore muscles after a couple of nights on the Wii. I know that sounds pathetic but some of those games can really get you moving muscles you forgot you had. I haven't tried Wii Fit yet though. I would love to come and play it with you guys. Ah someday right. Keep us all updated on your progress and high scores!

Okay, so we have never tried the Wii but everyone keeps talking about it so my curiosity is getting the best of me. Some of our friends have it and I guess we will just have to go and try it out. Too bad you guys live so far away :(

Amy's report of their extended anniversary celebration induced me to become leave-a-comment capable. Does it work with yours, Mia? It doesn't work with Melinda's. The WiiFit sounds like it could be useful. On KBYU the other day, it was stated that the three charateristics of someone who loses 30# and keeps it off for 5 years are: 1. They keep a record of what they eat. 2. They weigh themselves every day. 3. They do daily in-house aerobics. The latter was a surprise to me, but now you are in a position of doing it! Keep us apprised! If it goes well, we may get WiiFit ourselves. (Do you need a wall-sized TV screen like you all have and complain that we don't?)
