Lesson learned: Do not give your husband the password to the family blog the day before your birthday. I don't know what I was thinking. Thank you to all the kind words and phone calls. I was quite busy on Wednesday with Young Women events and meetings, etc. and didn't have a lot of time yesterday to post anything as well. So, although I thought I have to approve everything going out for the world to see, my dear sweet husband got one by me.
Fortunetely for me, I get to approve the pictures that go out. If I don't like it, you don't see it. The kids were not in the best mood Wednesday by the time Brian got home to take my Birthday picture and they did not turn out. So, even though I do not like this picture, I will post it. I better get only positive feedback people!
All in all, I had a very nice Birthday. My mom took Brooklyn and I out to lunch (while Gavin went to his buddies house) to my favorite restaraunt; Red Lobster. I even had leftovers for dinner! Wednesday evening we had a Youth Summer BBQ to thank the Youth for all the service they have done this year. (If some of you are not aware, I am the Secretary for the Young Women in our Ward)

I think it is a great picture!
And you should all know she's the best Secretary for YW's ever! Happy Birthday Mia!
You don't like it? You are picky, aren't you. It's beautiful! And I'm glad you learned the lesson. For your remaining birthdays, you can skip that part -- as long as Brian otherwise keeps himself apprised of your secret incantations.
P.S. Really! That picture is so beautiful.... I added it to the family wallpapers for my computer desktop and it's displaying right now. If that's Brooklyn in a "not the best mood" what's she look like when she's happy?
Your hair is so cute, I like it short, nice for summer eh? Happy belated birthday and I can imagine that the YW are so blessed by your talents.
Mia, of course you are beautiful and always take great pictures! Even when you're straddling a railing and peddling like you're in the Tour de France! You always look GREAT! I bet you are great in YW. You're probably one of those cool leaders that all the girls look up to and want to be like. And I'm glad Brian got one past you. It was a fun post :)
Cute, cute, CUTE picture!! Happy birthday to you, too. I hope it was good. You're blog is looking beautiful - you have been a busy lady!!
