Yucky Weather

A couple weeks ago my sister in law, Amy, posted a comment about the weather in Oregon. She's fed up and just needed to vent a little. At the time, I didn't understand how she was feeling, because it was starting to get a little warmer here in Minnesota. That was a couple weeks ago! Where did all our warm weather go? I'm looking out the window right now, and it's gloomy, overcast, depressing, and a little chilly. I've had it, I've had it, I've had it. I guess Amy and I will need to move to the carribean if our husbands want us to be at all happy for the remainder of life on earth. Anyone else want to go with? The rumor is that it's going to be a chilly summer here. I can handle a little breeze in the air, I just can't stand this gloomy, rainy, depressing, stuck in the house all day, weather. We'll go crazy if this is what's to come the next few months.

Wow, That feels good to get that out. Thanks Amy!

Sign me up! I've heard Aruba is nice, also Barbados, but I'm not picky.

Mia, I am soooo with you on moving to the Caribbean! I hate cold weather but the really hot weather makes me sick so I need someplace that stays the same year-round. It got to the upper 80's here one day and then dropped (I'm not exaggerating) 40 degrees overnight so the next day's high was in the 40's! Talk about crazy weather! I'm sorry it's cold and gloomy. I invested in a full spectrum desk lamp (only $20.00 at Wal-Mart!)and I really like it. They're supposed to help with the winter blues but most people get them for their excellent lighting for crafts/handiwork. I hope it warms up there soon and is just right to enjoy outside!

Move to the Caribbean - count me in!! Just this morning on the news they were talking about how abnormally cold it is for Portland right now. Since you don't like gloomy, rainy, or depressing weather than I can definitely say you wouldn't enjoy living in Portland. Jeff and I just have to keep telling ourselves that the constant rain is what makes it so beautiful here. But we're definitely ready to leave!
